chen mo gua yan（reticent）
In the late Tang Dynasty, Guo Ziyi became the greatest contributor to the rebellion of An Shi and his son Guo Ai married Princess Shengping.
But the princess had always treated herself as a royal and had little respect for her husband. Once when Guo Ai was drunk, he beat the princess and said, “You rely on your father to be the emperor, but my father does not want to be the emperor.”
When Guo Ziyi knew what had happened, he immediately went to the emperor with his son to apologize. The emperor said, “This is a quarrel between two couples. It should not be taken seriously.” And asked the princess and Guo Ai reconciliation.
Later, Guo Ai and the princess treated each other with respect. Their children were also excellent. Guo Zhao, the second son, was handsome but taciturn and sedate. Let the Kwok family continue to prosper.
