A simplified version of the Chinese classical novel “The Journey to the West”. This is a mythology novel with Tang Dynasty as the background. The Buddha gave a task to Xuanzang the monk, and offered him three disciples to protect him. They start the long and arduous journey to the West to pursue Buddhist Scripture.
